The R4 grouping of WEEE includes a wide variety of consumer electronic devices and small electrical equipment, used both in the domestic and professional sectors.

Despite its small size, this waste requires careful and highly specialized management, as it often contains delicate components or potentially polluting materials.

The R4 grouping is defined by Ministerial Decree No. 40 of 20 February 2023, and includes devices with external dimensions greater than 50 cm, including electronic appliances, power tools, personal care devices, office tools and much more.

The devices are collected, transported and stored at a certified site, awaiting treatment and recovery at specialized facilities.
